Mammootty's new action-comedy movie ‘Chattambinaadu’ will make a release by the end of this year, as a Christmas offering. The shoot of this movie directed by Shafi is in full swing at Pazhani. Mammootty has put up a clean shave look and is on a full whitish attire, in the movie for playing the role of Crorepati Goonda leader Veerendra Mallayya who hails from a township in Karnataka.

The megastar who had been known for the meticulous usage of typical slang, will speak in a different Malayalam language all through, with a pinch of Kannada slang, for the movie. Also in the cast are Lakshmi Rai, Siddique, Manoj K Jayan, Vijayraghavan, Salimkumar, Cochin Haneefa, Vijayaraghavan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, T G Ravi, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Mydhili and Meenakshi. The movie produced by Naushad and Anto Joseph in the banner of Big screen productions will be brought to theatres by Playhouse release.
